Herbs for spells, tinctures and magical jars
We use herbs for spells, jars, tinctures, for anything. So if you’re looking to create your own spell or concoction. here’s the herbs to help aid that:
Rosemary: soothing effects and can create a calm environment. It also eliminates negative energy
Sage: one of the most popular ways to cleanse and purify a space. Best way to burn sage is with a match and to also break off pieces. Don’t use a lighter, it’s not that same
Catnip: healing plant (for cats…is it though?) It can be burned in homes to bring love, beauty and happiness into a space
Hibiscus Flower: Want passion? This is the flower to use. It’s used for love, divination & freedom. Making a juniper tincture? Add this for extra passion
Peppermint: Don’t get this confused with Mint, if a spells calls for peppermint, that doesn’t mean mint. Peppermint is used for something refreshing and soothing. (Mint is used for fulfillment of desires)
*Again, there’s tons of places to buy all sorts of different herbs, some can even be found in the grocery store! I got started with kits where you can get everything you’ll need, all-in-one.
Hyssop: Best used in a bath to rid any jinx’s or to rid of any bad habits
Alfalfa: helps with bringing good fortune when it’s always an herb that can be added to moneys spells
Eucalyptus Leaf: Something to spray in the morning shower to wake yourself up for the day, but also can be used in spells for protection and help with purification
